Fitzpatrick Stadium is a 6000 seat multi-purpose outdoor facility.  "Fitzie" as it is called plays host to a variety of sporting events, is the home field for the Portland High School Bulldogs, and is host to the Class A Football Championships.  It also hosts a variety of other events, including college football, the Maine Senior Games and high school soccer.   This historic stadium is part of the fabric of the community, hosting many traditional rivalries over the years.  It has been enjoyed for generations and continues to play a major part of the Portland sports scene.
